[Beta Release] RVM Integrator 1.6.1 Beta 2.1

The RVM Integrator was created by picking the mind of RyanVM of msfn.org. It allows you to actually slipstream windows hotfixes and third party software directly into a windows install disk. This is unlike any other software out there that claims to do this. It allows advanced users to create simple UpdatePack/Addons for others to use to slipstream things to their disks.

I am also looking forward to this!
Also the /? switch does not mention /Alert:+ option, and I think /Optimize:+ is broken..
Anyway Good luck!!

nuhi did resume working on nLite in 2013. The latest version is 1.4.9.3, which may be the last version now that Windows XP and 2003 have both reached End-of-Support.

nuhi has since moved on to NTLite for later versions of Windows. (homepage, support on MSFN)

The last discussion on RVMi revival was in October of 2013. Source is available for the latest released beta, v1.6.1b2.1. YumeYao was working on a newer version in 2009, and he shared his source with me. I lost that source when my machines were lost that year. And he has been inactive for a few years now, his last post on RyanVM's forum was 2012/09/12.

There's not much point in further development of RVMi now that Windows XP and 2003 have reached End-of-Support.

It was fun while it lasted though. ;-) I would say it was a great experience. Who knows... maybe someday I'll do something for the newer windows systems. But it seems to me that the newer windows kind of has the capability to do things like RVM Integrator already. I have some source code of RVM Intergator that I think is newer than v1.6.1b2.1. It's labeled v1.7 beta. If there is any interest in it still I wouldn't mind putting the source code out for the world to have. ;)

Please make a 1.7 build available, especially if it fixes the optimise files bug.

As much as I'd like to put out another release--if only to update the 7-Zip engine to the latest stable release (15.12)--YumeYao made some changes in the beta that radically reformat dosnet.inf and txtsetup.sif. Such large, unnecessary changes make troubleshooting a nightmare. This might be acceptable to me if "Optimize System Files" were selected. But the changes are made to the files regardless of the setting, and might explain why the optimization feature is broken.

I need to see what Siginet has before going any further.
