TwoJ, I would like to ask if it's complete and, mainly, correct.

If so, you could incorporate it in your first post as a reference to the updates included your Hotpacks.

I also created an update list for "Windows Updates Downloader" I would like to share. (Includes the Updates above & Office Compatibility Pack with Updates)
(First unrar, as .ulz files cannot be attached here)

Hi theodoresdr

I suggest you take a look at this thread;

http://www.siginetsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=759

I looked into the WUD as you'll see in the post and the main issue with it, is that it re-downloads updates even if you have them downloaded. Not a big issue with a 3MB update, but you don't want/need to download a 300-400MB service pack every month or 2. Hence the reason for ketarin.

If you download the package you'll see the updates for each product. I keep an excel sheet as well to track the updates but it has the same updates you'll see in the ketarin database.

I can't verify if its correct yet since i haven't done november yet. I recently started a new job and doing a lot of other stuff, its the usual thing of not having the time. Its also the same problem for benners who is in the same boat, the OI needs some updates itself, plus there is room for some type of autoupdate functionality that would be great to build into it, but again, we barely have the time to keep the updates going and no time to invest in upgrading it.

I'll see if this w-e i can get the new packs out.

I used the last hotpack for 2003 and according to MU, only the most recent released fixes for November are missing:

KB2289187 - MS10-087
KB2413304 - MS10-088
KB2435682 - Junk e-Mail Filter

So, the hotpack seems pretty current to me.

Any chance on seeing a hotpack for the November, December and January Office 2003 fixes?

Thanks ....

Updated to 2011-01-15

One hotfix KB980373 doesn't integrate, the OI needs to be updated to accommodate it, the hotfix is however loaded in the ketarin database.

Thanks TwoJ. Your time and effort in maintaining and updating this pack are much appreciated.

Unfortunately, I cannot download it from RS.

Can any member who DL's this latest hotpack update for Office11 (2003) please be nice and UL it to someplace like mediafire or anywhere that is more convenient for DL than RS and post a link to it here.

Pretty please.

Hi vicegrip,

have you tried using a downloader program, something like jdownloader to get the file from RS?
I know a few people have mentioned they have issues with RS but no one has said exactly what the issue is, just that they can't download.
I'm really hesitant to put up mirrors just because of the extra time, its already pretty consumming getting these packs out.
Any other suggestions?

Hey TwoJ, thanks for answering my post.

I understand uploading to multiple mirrors would only add to the time you put into this.

Believe me, I have tried just about everything to download from RS to my PC.

My alternative is to download the hotpack from RS onto someone else's PC and transfer it over to mine.
But I am always reluctant to use other people's comps for that kind of thing.

RS will gladly allow me to download if I upgrade to the Pro version.
So if any member is gracious enough and has enough time, it would be very nice of them to UL to another site for people without credit cards like myself.

Ok i posted a mirror on MediaFire - hopefully that will help you out

Maybe i can ask a favor of you or someone if they can point me to a software that manages uploading to multiple sites like RS, mediafire, or hotmail and the links. I know there are professional uploaders who use programs to manage their uploading so if someone can point me to one, i will gladly keep mirrors going if its the same work or easier.

thanks
