download link is dead. Mediafire complains that it is a broken or encrypted file.

Yes, it seems Mediafire has changed its policy as to what kind of files can be shared with a free user account.
They want you to upgrade and pay money. It's unclear as to what criteria is used to block files.

its very strange whats going on since 2 hotpacks are fine and then 1 is reported with problems even if the 3 are almost identical - need to look at this more.

I've moved some of the files to Dropbox in an attempt to fix issues with MediaFire and other restrictions. At this point it is beta testing. If you have issues - let me know

TwoJ, how did you integrate aspdata.msp (KB2543854) with OI? I may have missed where, but does OI accept msp files?

Technically i didn't do the integration - its the OI - what i did is a little hacking - windows will download and cache updates to your computer in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\downloads, all i did was wipe that directory and then install that update. it downloads the cab file from the MS updates repository (not the same as the Microsoft Downloads wesite). You extract the msp from the cab, then with the msp I just repackaged it as a exe with 7zip. Since the OI strips away the exe to get the msp it was just a way to allow it to treat it like a normal hotfix. I have asked Benners to add msp functionality to OI but as always its for all these one time exceptions that seem to come up almost every patch tuesday!
PS - if you look at the update you can see it an exe created with 7zip, the file icon should be z7ip and not the same as the other microsoft hotfixes that are created with LZX compression, I looked quickly to see if they had a tool to do that type of compression to make the hotfix look more authentic but the main issue is that it would need digital signing from microsoft and i don't think they are going to lend me their signing cert!

Ahhh okay, I've been installing it with APDATA.msp /passive using RunOnceEx after the hotpack installation. I did not think of making
an exe out of it.
