So the new version will solve the setup and hotfix problem???

I just tried, the OI you send to me can't open the Chinese setup, look forward to the new version, hope it can slove these problem(I guess the OI only fit for English setup, any other language may have the same problem with me)

I have res edited one of my setup.exes, altered the code to work and tested it, I have also downloaded some Chinese Hotfixes to try and find some common elements between different languages. When I am satisfied I will post a new build.

The OI is only aimed at English language users, I asked a while ago when I was redesigning the GUI for some translations on a file I posted, but, despite the number of d/ls and views nobody responded so I removed all the strings and changed it to English.

It already has, check the Office Integrator thread. It will still need testing with your Chinese version

Hi,

I got the latest OI you released.

For the first time I use it to integrated Chinese version office2003, it's succeed to load the setup.exe file and all hotfixes, but the OI stopped at the progress around 65%(integrated the 16th hotfix of 18.), I wait for ten minutes, and then end the process of OI.

Then I do a new integrate with OI, but got some error.

I tried for 5 times, at last I succeed to integrated office2003 Chinese version.

I will have a look later on, I am currently@ work. If the Hotfixes are added it must be the latest build but there should not be that much logging with the x's.

Seems the hotfixes are ok now, and I found the OI can integraged SP and hotfix for office2003 small business version now(I did this last year, but it shows "Creation of administrative installation images is supported only in Enterprise versions of Microsoft office 2003"

I threaded a post for help, but nobody response, now it's ok.

Great thanks,benners!

I compared different office, then I found the [OfficeIntegrator] string in the file \FILES\SETUP\SETUP.ini is different, I have 14 office2003 hotfixes and 4 office2007 hotfixes(after install office2007 FileFormatConverters)

but it can't integrate office2007 hotfix for office2007 FileFormatConverters, and some office 2003 hotfixes can't be integrated.

The different versions will not need the same hotfixes, the Enterprise for instance will have more applications. The Office 2007 Hotfixes for FileFormatConverters will need to be installed after the FileFormatConverters.exe.
