There's no need. Just copy the oemlogo.bmp and oeminfo.ini to C:\WINDOWS\system32
Their mere presence in that directory makes them work.
I understand that you can manually copy them into the directory, I guess what I am looking for is the following.
#1. Run 1 command to insert the 2 files + change the background. Can you run a .bat script to include a registry modification?
#2. I could modify the .7z integration tools to create a directory and insert the needed files into the installation folder, however what is the best method of doing so?
Would you suggest $OEM$ as the insertion method? or AutoIT? I guess sigi... i'm wanting to create two versions of your files.
The 1st would be a standalone that could be used by anyone in any situation, for example say you had a Dell desktop you reinstalled windows on.
I want you to be able to download a folder with ALL backgrounds / images / etc. then simply run the .bat file to slip the 2 files to the system32 folder and select a background or run a .reg file.
The 2nd way would be slipped into the .7z files you created so you have a C:\Dell folder upon installation allowing you to select your background and have your oemlogo.bmp auto slipped into the install.
